Congratulations, Stephanie, on your new little one!

I met Stephanie as an undergraduate in poetry courses; she was an MFA candidate who kindly tolerated my presence in workshops and seminars. I remember her poem about flying lessons; I remember that she got her undergraduate degree in Alaska. I remember thinking of her as entirely fearless, or at least, braver than I am. And here she is, a mama of two, a brave thing indeed.
