443: weekend, part I (the blur)

I've decided to unpeel this weekend slowly, because it was really beautiful, and because some of these photos want to bump up against one another, not chronological order quite. These, all photos with the focus slightly off, which I rather enjoyed, particularly when drawing back into bigger landscapes.

Four poets went into the woods of Wisconsin this weekend, made rice pasta and practiced yoga, spotted deer and muskrats, listened to acoustic music at this place and tried walnut burgers, got caught in thunderstorms and played word games.

I miss the Trempealeau Hotel, but at least we can still get the burgers at the co-op.
