Martha of Uniform Studio sent an invite to a new Flickr group:
s t i l l. The intention was to capture the essence of stillness, causing members to contemplate what that meant to each of us, how you animate the inanimate. (Above, some of my favorites.)

To me, stillness, and what has been drawing me in photography and elsewhere is the feeling of peace. The breathe in, breathe out of life. Morning sunlight. A slight breeze. Internal peace expressed with image; stillness inside.

I'm still knitting, these days: frogs this time.
